I'm not a software developer. But I've learned to use AI deliberately: describe a problem clearly, build a solution step by step, check the results and improve them. Problem

Money spread across banks, brokers and crypto, in euros and dollars – no overview, and no wish to hand bank logins to a third party.

Solution

Live prices for stocks, ETFs and crypto, EUR/USD conversion
Bank statement import, spending by category, recurring costs
Flags money earning 0% – compared with low-risk benchmarks
Wealth goal, Roth IRA limits and price alerts

Radio transcripts & vocabulary lists

Problem

Listening to German radio, many words slip by – I wanted to read exactly what was said.

Solution

Records a news station every hour
Transcribes everything word for word, offline (speech recognition)
Filters out repeated news items
Builds a daily page with search and a vocabulary list (with der/die/das)

Result

A searchable transcript and new vocabulary every day – for private use only, deleted automatically after two days.

Music to the phone

Moved an iTunes library of over 1,500 songs to an Android phone: converted formats, kept the playlists, checked everything.

Data rescue

Recovered photos from an old hard drive, rejoined split Windows backup files and verified every file byte by byte – before setting up the backup.
